Grain growers in this country are currently bleeeeeding big time. As I have stated before margins on growing wheat at the current time are damn marginal. Sentiment in the scrub is low, just have a look at how many grain growing properties are for sale Australia wide, you could fill a library with the listings and they are NOT selling.
What you ask has this got to do with AWB? I say that they cannot in the next 12 months be greedy and cut off the hand that feeds them. Profit margins for AWB in the year ahead are going to have to be pruned if they want to retain their client base into the future.
