That would be illegal would it not!?
If they were dummy bidders then their instructions were pretty bad.I can imagine one dummy to kick it off or if there was another party.It looked ridiculous.Good way to destroy an auction IMO.
The thing is I was looking at the faces of the crowd and it appeared that no one thought is was strange.Very scary.
