This is a really good podcast from Peter Schiff explaing why gold has dropped since Trump has been elected along with information on Trumps polices and how they will effect the market in the short term such as spiking government bond prices and a over inflated US dollar.

Don't be fooled the underlying value hasn't changed this is just a tree shake from the market manipulation stemming from the US.
With Trumps polices on infurstucture rebuilding he won't to rise rates just yet.
What will happen is the Fed will lose all credibility if they dont raise in December... because the next meeting isnt until March and the market will then realise its a repeat of this year.
And if they raise... well... look what happened last time...market crashed, gold soared.
The underlying value for gold hasn't changed It will eventuallly account for all the currency supply created which it always does and move up in price violently and not small increments as we have seen before and the same works when the market has a bearish sentiment towards gold like the last few days with extreme volatility.
This is just short term volatility and market manipulation before Obama leaves office in January.
Since the election the US dollar has rallied on an unsustainable level and bond yields have gone up but the underlying problem hasn't changed the us economy debt is more than 100 % of their GDP.
SAR is the only stock I hold no doubt it will open down tomorrow but I won't be selling just continuing to buy and accumulate with the spare money I have, without a doubt the best gold stock on the ASX with no debt along with outstanding management set up for a similar growth phase as to EVN.
Also will be watching stocks like ASB ( Austal ships) as I think they could get awarded big US government contracts now Trump is elected.
My picks for smaller cap gold miners are PGO and BLK, also watching ALK closely for the rare earth potential as when they get the full funding for the DZP the share price will be almost 3 x times higher than were it sits today.
What's everyone doing in this in the current market buying, selling or accumulating and what are your picks?
