It was always a high risk/high reward punt and the science managers took a big gamble for all of us. Ultimately, the whole strategy depended on re-purpose well-established drugs for some lesser indications/benefits, and developing to a stage when bigger boys with development funds will buy into the value-added propositions. I guess the big boys are not interested. We might have to just turn out the lights.
