Longstory, its hard to know the true play without much facts being disclosed. A lot of speculation would definitely arise however am off the view companies like IDG and Baupost would be sensitive to reputational issues which they would refrain from getting involved with anything that may look questionable. Hence it may not be them. This is why i do think shareholders should seek/enquire more information from the administrator just for clarity.
