When you can bring investors/companies like GE and Total as shareholders in the company and get them to invest collectively US$1bln why wouldnt you be earning such figures. Regardless the status of the project, management is showing resilience and continued push towards financial close. They continue configuring synergies and strategies that gives market excitement while finding the optimal way forward even if they need to trim their workforce. In all honesty even if theres no more way forward, their strategic shareholders mentioned above will potentially step up either by acquiring the entire platform and provide Tellurian public shareholders a meaningful monetisation way out. Did the management/board of LNGL ever provided that to LNGL shareholders?
