There was considerable build-up both from the company as well from professional traders. In this environment your news must be very strong in order to keep both the punters and the investors happy.

The placement was on the low side that will depress the price for a while and the announcement also didn't contain anything earth-shattering.

Hence disappointment as well as those who bought the stock at a lower level can comfortably take profit knowing that they will be able to buy back at a lower level.

Also the timing of the announcement wasn't the best - we are having two down days and the sentiment also goes against KAL.

Now the hype is over, we'll see if this will recover and gives us something before Christmas - I hope!
