    simple explanation...

super funds and investment funds are all in cash

a few 100k here and there from small investors mean nothing to the sp
    ...
until the big money gets back into the market no company will see any support in the sp

big money avoids losses by supporting the sp at various levels they decide on ...for example every time the sp reaches a particular level they buy hence stopping the sp falling......without this supporting structure involved the sp will continue to slide until the shares are worth nothing.

your tolerance for losses will determine how much you lose

your best option if involved in a spec stock with a reducing sp is to sell and wait for the big money to re enter the market then buy again.Even if it means taking a loss.....its better than the likelihood of a bigger loss!!!!

A lot of spec stocks will not survive what is about to occur on the markets

just remember as the interest rates reduce foreign money will also desert our markets as the forex rates become less favourable...crunch 2 on its way.

and labour and the reserve banks rediculous policy of rear view mirror watching will take its effects.
