My guess is if the bot sells small units just under the last real price it is leading the market down so he can buy parcels. Ie sell 1 buy 5000 at 1,5,10 cents under last price or vica versa.
This is especially good if they can hit a nice round number and trigger some stops.
But who knows what is in the mind of another though??
