Have a look at the charts I posted above. They don't show any consistent pattern of NCM and LGL performing differently. Quite the opposite, in fact.

I take sp's point regarding the amount of LGL's recent falls, however as regards the overall correlation between NCM and LGL, I think it's easy to have the exception shape your perception. In simple terms, if NCM and LGL were to track each other pretty closely 4 days out of 5, you wouldn't notice it. However, that 1 day out of 5 when NCM goes up and LGL goes down would stick out in your mind.

On the days when LGL goes up and NCM goes down, I don't see NCM holders recanting their positions and saying what a good buy LGL would have been.
