Nothing's for sure, but take a look at the two graphs. For the past month, they have either moved in lockstep direction on most days (and put in interim peaks and troughs together), or LGL has done so a day or two after NCM.
BTW, from their lows on 20 November to yesterday's closes, LGL has put on 42% and NCM 38%.
Just saying - if you want to compare the two, LGL is not a dog, IMO.
Re: why NCM might be doing better today, well the bounce in equity markets overnight, in response to Obama's Grand Plan led to copper catching a bid (up 9% on the day).
