those seemingly nonsense buys/sells that appear far away from the actual trading price of the stock are quite often there to boost the total volume of the particular side they are on.
this serves several purposes. it can lead people to form an incorrect opinion of the actual number of buyers/sellers in the stock. it can also enable a keen buyer/seller to move buys/sells up or down during the day without altering the total buy/sell volume and thus spooking unwary buyers/sellers.
watch and see whether the 'feeder' order changes during the day and whether the top bid/offer changes accordingly.
