not necessarily.. this is not really price manipulation, just sensible buying/selling of large quantities of stock without moving the bid/offer too far from the desired range..
if we just look at the buy-side, by way of example for the moment.. there are currently roughly 40m shares bid between 0.001 and 0.012c.. well out of the running atm. if your platform allows it, look at the orders (as opposed to the price-levels) and see whether they are still there later on in the same quantities.
in many cases these orders are amended to the current bid/offer price as the bid/offer line gets taken out and at the end of the day one can sell/buy tens of millions of shares without moving the price much.. the alternative would have been to put the entire order on the bid/sell line which risks spooking buyers/sellers and raising/decreasing the price for no real reason other than that someone wants to get in or out for reasons unrelated to the quality or prospects of the stock in question.
