ds , OPL probably had pre-emptive rights over the 90% NEG held (or part of it) , there-fore NEG gets cash from Maxim , and OPL gets an increased WI for giving away their righst to take the extra 90%. Agree , it needs further explaining but seems like a stunning deal and just goes to show what kind of deals can be done once the drillbit hits the realstuff onshore USA. Would not surprise me if Maxim was eyeing Jack Hamar also ... it may be that neither OPL nor NEO need spend another cent at JH ... simply dilute thier interest a little and get free-carried through multi drill developments. Nice work if you can get it !
