Hi SB,

You are thinking that all buyers/sellers/holders are getting involved due to the up & coming announcement, but you would be wrong.

Only FA investors/traders are interested in any announcement, TA traders are in it purely based on what the charts tell them, many have no idea & do not even care for the name of the company or what it does business in, they only know the stock code & how the charts look. Then they buy until the chart changes & based on the change of the chart they either hold or sell. They have zero interest in any announcement good or bad, conditional buys & sells can protect them from any FA changes without them wasting time following the daily changes of every stocks activities & the details.
