the way I see it and please don't just take my word for it- you are right with your analysis of BHP nevertheless the big players in the market such as master trusts and hedge funds are controlling the direction of the market.
they have made a fortune on the way up and push the stock high- now they are doing exactly the reverse.
nevertheless the very fact that the stock is holding up tends to suggest that they just don't want to offload themselves rather sell down and buy back.
I feel personally this could get as low as to $22.20.
i cancel my buy order at $23.76 and hoping that I will take up as much as I can around 22.20 again this is just my feeling.
please do your research- and if you can hold on in my view BHP's future should be more optimistic than most.
