even though he cited LME he may have been including Shanghai inventories (hence the 3.5 days rather than 2 days). The Chilean copper publish total world inventories in their monthly letter:

I don't believe a re-rating will occur until costs are down but given that no one else in the TMR thread appears to understand the connection between unit costs and stock valuation it is pointless debating the matter here.
