Sassy, Revenue stream looks assured for next year or two and company will be paying some Australian tax making the dividend option extra good for shareholders as we get credit for local tax paid.

I am wary of surplus cash in any environment - personal or corporate - the temptation to spend it often becomes irresistable. imo BTA has enough on its plate right now with Relenza, LANI, HRV and RSV - all well funded before this swineflu pandemic re-awoke the demand for Relenza.

I have studied the share buyback option over the last several years and with the exception of off-market buybacks, the on-market jobs are at best a waste of time and money and at worst, good for option holders only.

imo - in any investing there comes a time to take some money off the table.
