Just looking at some of the most discussed stocks on HotCopper and to visit their threads and see the level of interest and the sheer number of holders, leaves me in two minds.
On one hand, with only 17 posters/holders (so far), it makes for a very tight register and suggests that holders have very sticky fingers when it comes to parting with their shares. Runs in that case would be swift and sizable as no one is prepared to sell.
On the other hand, by having so few holders, do we miss out on some good ol' fashioned sentiment spurt from all the chatter that goes on between the players.
Because I love a party, I originally thought the more the merrier but now I'm not so sure. Aren't some of the best nights out, the ones spent with a few friends at one of those boutique wine bars? Sure the drinks are a bit more expensive but then again there are no queues to get in, there's no annoying loud music, you can hear what your friends are saying and the barman knows your name.
I like our party.
