    Hi illalong,

    There are many articles printed on this (google CO2 production in manufacturing EV v gasoline) and you will get many conflicting reports.

    short answer is EV's seem to produce more CO2 during manufacture than petrol driven vehicles but then they pay it back through running efficiency.

    I have yet tio find something that everyone seems to agree on though.
