primaus, from what I've read, YAL is a vehicle for Yanzhou to be in the Australian market, so at some point it will have some use, I presume, and I reckon that will be to buy assets for YAL. It would also help to sort out the ownership problem, as YAL can just provide scrip to whomever they buy, thereby diluting the large owners. However, they have 18 months- a bit less now- to do anything at all, and whilst YAL is in this state of limbo, there is not much upward price impetus, in my view. As soon as Yanzhou moves, though, YAL could be worth multiples. I think YAL and YALN operate counter-intuitively, so if there was a bull run on YAL, YALN's share price might decrease.
