Hi guys, can someone please kindly explain to me the following question:
I puchased 250,000 of RSL shares about one and a half years ago. I saw it drop like crazy so I kinda left it there and went overseas for business for a year and now I came back to find a letter saying "THIS ADVICE CONFIRMS THE ALLOTMENT OF 14,706 FULLY PAID ORDINARY IN RETAIL STAR LIMITED ON". I had 250,000 quantity in holding balance and now I see on my CHESS HOLDING statement that I only have 14,706 only and with 235,294 as OFF. The transaction says "Adjustment due to Reconstruction of Captial"
Does this mean I have somehow lost my 235,294 shares? I thought if I just held this and if the company do not go bankrupt I will not lose anything?
Can some one please help me? Also the 14,706 FULLY PAID does that mean I got paid? Where is the money? This is keeping me awake for many days now....
Sorry if my question is very silly but I do not have a clue and I have called CHESS and they are not explaining to me properly. Thanks everyone!
