IMO, you just have to look at the top20 and the number of shares that have been 'sold' recently to draw a conclusion that it is likely that instos (foreign?) have been shorting this heavily and are now trying desperately to start a panic dump to clean up.

There have been more shares 'sold' in the last 20 days than exist outside the top20! More shares sold even than held by the largest holder excluding Chevron as published in the last annual.

Of course it is difficult to *know* what is going on due to the deliberate info blackout on short positions on the ASX.

On the ASX everybody knows how many 'long' shares there are (ie the float), but short positions (the total borrowed and sold) are a tightly guarded secret! I wonder why.

Amazing to me that some think regular and daily market manipulation is merely a conspiracy theory!
