Plebiscite + + + +, page-8

I like the idea, but politicians dont really want to give people a say in the big issues.

the plebiscite is just a way of dealing with a controversial political issue.

It needs a vote to appease the losing side (whoever that is). Not to indicate what decision should be made.

A vote wont change the minds of the losers, they will still have their beliefs.
The losers will have to accept it as the will of the people though.
