People are entitled to feel disappointed with GDY's progress (I don't hold) but it's a bit harsh to blame Bertus for lack of progress since he left. I don't think his salary while there was particularly over the top for a company with strong institutional backing. GDY continues to behave as the blue-chip of the industry, hiring expensive overseas executives and well-connected directors, and companies like ORG continue to pour money into it - contrary to the author's claim of a sell-down.
As for solar thermal, well bring it on and let the market judge it alongside the rest. There are currently no companies listed on the ASX so if they are starved for capital perhaps its because they aren't looking very hard.
