    Gold players are out in force at the "Diggers & Dealers Forum" in Western Australia. A number of smaller gold miners, including Apex Minerals, St Barbara and Avoca Resources, have indicated they would be willing to grow via consolidation. Les Davis, of Silver Lake Resources, claims his firm has signed two confidentiality agreements regarding potential mergers.
