isn't it appropriate to protect the water catchment from heavy metal pollution? too many tailings dams overflow into rivers and cause tremendous harm to water life.
rules are set to protect the environment, not for some capricious MPs fancies. mining companies are required by laws to comply with protection of water catchments.
