What have I just read? I have lost brain cells from this thread. Clearly some people have never been in a board room, or involved in any major capital projects.
Shareholder agreements protecting minority JV partners is bog standard operational procedure. Everyone does this. SYA are not fooling their shareholders by having this agreement in place. Having this agreement actually protects their investment rather than hindering it like some seem to believe as they are not allowed to behave recklessly in their operations.
