When investing in a US company, listed and reporting on a US exchange, its always best to to default to US$ ... so for my posts its always US$ unless I note AUD. Likewise the PRAs report in US$ and Yuan (for CIF contracts) but then the Yuan is a fixed peg to US$

The listing on ASX is a holdover since Piedmont began its "life" on ASX. But now it is a US company.

And great that it is, for there are enormous benefits to that, not the least of which is the 45X provisions of IRA that only apply to US companies (i.e. paying tax to IRS).
