I can't say I've seen much "chatter" on this either ... Lots of carbonate going to be produced in the USA from clays and brines. Spodumene is the most economic source for Hydroxide (unless of course ....?)
GM just tied up an OTA for 40,000 tpy of Li2CO3 with LAC - being 100% of Phase 1 from Thacker Pass NV with ROFR for Phase 2 (another 40Ktpy).
I guess GM believes the courts will not uphold the appeal to begin construction.
