Note2 - With joint agreement there is preferential supply to a jointly-owned lithium chemical plant. In this scenario the off-take still exists and Piedmont is still getting any residual spod produced beyond this requirement (up to 113kt or 50% but presumably it would be well under 113kt). This would create the possibly odd scenario of no Spod being sold to third parties at presumably rates above $900/t. Part of reaching joint agreement on a chemical plant may involve an amendment to these off-take terms, but it is pure HC speculation what any such changes may be.
