The Big selloff in Lithium stocks last night seems to be centred on CATL cutting battery costs in China
The company is offering long term customers based on a 3 year Lithium Carbonate Price of 200,000 yuan/t (US$29,000/t)
The current spot price today is at US$62,000/t according to Fastmarkets
This would imply that Lithium Chemicals is in for another 54% drop in pricing in the near term if CATL estimates are to eventuate
