If the yanks are shorting the ADRs I would expect the strategy there is that they were expecting an imminent CR to start funding the DFS (tick). And will then cover off market at the discounted offer price, without any resulting increase in SP.
Which seems sensible really. Unlikely to be a short squeeze, just wall street parasites buying new yachts, and dilution for holders.
If the yanks are shorting the ADRs I would expect the strategy...
