Apparently someone (on another forum) spoke to Plonker and "He confessed he didnt research BTA at all and was confused because he thought BTA made vaccines through GSK...
...he said no one took much notice of the BULL recommendation anyway".

Had a quick look at some of his other successful recommendations:

Jun 2008 BUY - DGG (21 cents) - speculative outperform prediction 75 cents. Current price 14 cents (having hit a high of around 29 cents since prediction).

Nov 2009 SELL - SEK ($6.17) - "Take profits and look for a cheaper entry next year". Stock since hit $7.03 on Jan 4 2009

It's easy to put in the boot in hindsight, however, he puts himself out there and is happy to sweep poor research under the carpet, so what the heck.
