Very much subjective.
I'd start with having enough to afford you the lifestyle you choose to live without having to work ever again if you choose not to.
I'd hate to be in hospital dying, knowing I had wealth and never took time to enjoy some of it.
Working till I die or become physically unable to work anymore and thus do the things I want to do certainly does not appeal either.
Is chasing more than enough worth other costs, not necessarily financial?
