I can see a world in which both Lithium Batteries (whose efficiency will increase over time) and Hydrogen both serve a purpose. Much like diesel and petrol both serve a purpose and have existed along side each other for years.
You are of course free to invest your money as you see fit.
Just saying - from my research and perspective (IMHO) - betting against Lithium now would be very very risky.
