It's true they had a poor performance during the first half of 2017. Ironically, it was largely due to going long on lithium when so many shorters were pushing the prices down. Although it's only been going for a few years, the overall performance of the fund has been very good, and if you look at its performance for the 2017 calendar year it was stellar.
