Binwood. I selected just one case that recently occurred. I can name several others that I have experienced. You can argue all you like and find excuses but it is a fact that seldom do retail investors maintain their original value and often get stuck with stock that can not be sold unless the holding quantity is increased to a marketable quantity and then sold. Beware, it does no good burying the head in the sand by dismissing the reality of consolidations.
