Hi @h00ts - I use the hi of prior day (56.5), and the subsequent open 57 for gap analysis...which is an imperfect art, subject to many qualifications....there are also (at least) 4 types of gaps...(and not all are filled).
Regardless, I've tried to draw a horizontal line in IRESS as close as possible to 56 (not so easy).
It's obvious how critical this level is, at various points in April, and much of June (gap or no gap...if there is a gap, it's 1/4 penny, to which I don't ascribe a lot of significance anyway).
I prefer Horizontal Support / Resistance levels. It's at 55.75c as I write.....
