Ok I accept shorting is legal however what I can’t accept is the fact that if AISIC ,ASX , ICAC , Parliament or anyone else that has the power to intervene can’t or won’t investigate the illegal process of stock price manipulation to set artificial pricing. No one can convince me that if they trace algo’s trading to the establishment that they are set by imo it will follow a path straight back those holding large % parcels and on further to those that borrow the stocks off them. Clearly criminal and in doing so stealing value from regular retail investors and forcing some to panic sell , albeit they are given the license to do this scot free with no charges on any of their singular trading patterns. Not only deplorable behaviour by the big end but equally disgusting by the lawmakers.
