A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. When there’s money there it’s often the best just to take it. The price doesn’t stay there after a gap up with these sorts of stocks. Even sell within a current paper loss to grab the cash although that is hard a loss is a loss paper or crystallised. The chances of the price holding after news is usually much less than the chances of the price reverting, so it seems to me. If people hold after a bump up then the machines sell it down but if they sell then selling momentum continues….until it doesn’t. Hold now. Should’ve sold and made 6 percent. Oh well next time.
