Can you generate one of those going back over several years please? And then a version where you overlay the turnover volume, per the other chart you did? I have a feeling a pattern is in there.
Also a normalised one might be worth creating ( where the price axis is a %). The decision would be about what to set as the base for the %. My instinct is that one that charts against the previous period's price would be best but I don't know if any charting system could do that (in other words, a chart of the delta of each day/week (as a percent thereof) on the close of the previous day/week, smoothed to a median trend). I have a feeling that a repeating pattern will emerge.
On the snapshot you have it appears to be entering an uplifting cycle. The question is how many of those bumps are normally in an uplifting cycle over what time frame. To get that we need a much longer period than you are currently showing.
