Perhaps you are right ... a lot can sometimes happen in two or three days.
Since I am less into day tradiing than medium term (looking for 30 day swings or longer)
the loss of a day or two or three at the start of a much longer swing is not overly important.
A sustained longer trend change of the median in either direction has been quite common with PLS
Useful reductions in average cost have flowed from that, and a day or so awaiting confirmation
of the direction change has helped, even if 100% benefit from faster action is foregone
