The Democrats have made a secretive strategic move last January, which basically hid legislation in plain sight. This is explained in the video clip by Lawrence O'Donnell. If they can get about 5 non-MAGA Republicans to support them in the house, the debt ceiling issue can be managed. These Republicans will be going up against Trump, and may end up like Liz Cheney, who has basically been sent out to pasture.
Nothing's guaranteed as US politics is chaotic at present, with MAGA Republicans causing havoc in some committees, but let's keep our fingers crossed for a positive outcome with regards to the debt ceiling.
