Might I suggest the ignore button? Life becomes much more pleasant and peaceful, and after a very short while you forget they even exist. On my screen you seem to be talking to the air - which looks really quite strange, if not a tad amusing. Every now and then some posters seem to just burst into random abuse for no apparent reason directed at someone who doesn't exist. It is really quite entertaining. You should try it (the ignore button that is, not the random abuse directed at phantoms). I only have two people on ignore, but now that I realise how funny it makes the conversations look, perhaps I should start randomly adding more people just so I can see more posters descend into the lunacy of shouting at the air. Only problem is I can't think of any other posters I could bare to miss the postings thereof.
Anyway, probably time for you to put this particular antagonist on ignore, for your own peace of mind.
