Probably time for an update on our US basket stocks. These show the original expected paths (blue arrows) so we can see how we are doing against expectations. Not some are now at or reaching their targets, so there shouldn't be many more days left in the PLS drop if it follows the basket. Note the biggest divergence is TSLA which is more or less at the revised target: the lower channel added after the break from the wedge with the wedge break target being the vertical price gap rectangle shown. It fell to the bottom of the channel and then started climbing with the channel, but missed the target by $4 or about 2%. I would guess that is close enough so I expect it to rise more now. The dotted purple line is to where I expect it to eventually go. SQM, LTHM & LAC all appear to be at or have already reached there targets and climbing back. LAC is the trickiest of these as it has to climb back into the top edge of the down channel and until it breaks through that we can't be sure that it wont fall some more, and then it will probably try to back test the channel anyway once it is through it. ALB appears to still have some distance to fall. Note LTHM and AKE should be tightly bound now due to their pending merger, which will do strange things to PLS as AKE PLS and CXO are more-or-less linked in their movements, at least intra-day on the Oz market, with CXO generally behaving like a high beta stock with exaggerated movements compared with PLS. Summary: I am expecting PLS to come down a little more but to turn very soon BUT look to the next post with the Li price charts :
