re sidebar on WHC - bad buyback at prices well above the current price on average as reported today, very low dividend despite massive cash pile making ppl wonder if they'll ever really benefit from it, likely value detective m&a bid for bhp coal mines that are currently for sale, buyback paused = shares going down and snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
So not such a tough market, just tough on companies that are not delivering what most of their shareholders want.
