the difference between the same stock with the same parameters for stochastic and bollingers etc but candles as opposed to Hekien-Ashis.. looks like there may have been a bit of a bounce on the Heiken chart (bottom one) with a doji (t-shape cross that's just lines) followed by some green. Uptick on the stochastic and some green on the other bits of squiggles... just sent through an order for $5 puts to be executed on stock that cost $4.68 from a week or so ago, leaving the rest of the trading parcel averaged at $4.75 and protected by $4.80 puts. Just in the process of re-buying the executed stock for $4.50 or thereabouts so booking over 40c per share profit (after cost of option and brokerage) on a declining price, this is quite different to shorting which is selling the underlying stock which you have borrowed to trigger a decline to then re-purchase borrowed stock to return to someone. My repurchased stock is my stock so not shorted if that makes sense. Using options to protect a position then use that protection to recycle the buy price for a profit. The calls that I bought last Friday are probably toasted... but maybe not as well as PLS does jump up and down with great momentum... crazy share price action!
No idea if we are at the bottom or still have room to fall... no price targets either way, best part of PLS is the volatility which allows the absolutely insane situation of being able to take a position with both calls for upside and puts for protection and get to execute BOTH sides within a week for a profit?!?! I'll look to sell some puts soon as the price is so volatile that same story as above, you can go long then close out only to then use the bought put protection to recycle the underlying stock... and get a dividend????
