An excellent post describing the way frank credits work by SF@HC

One could be ultra sophisticated and mention the compound interest that could be
earned on banked dividends and franking credits.

However that is a separate investment choice flowing more indirectly.

Presenting the situation visually I know that OC and others have been breathlessly
waiting to see the new blue median which includes both the earlier dividend
benefits and those about to be received from PLS + via franking credits.
(Where holders are eligible for both.)

Confirming OC's often stated thought that medians are fictitious the blue median
has moved wider over the last six days.

How can that be asks OC? Recherche has clearly lost his mind as the
ex-date has only taken effect today.

Well for the benefit of OC and all who don't understand statistically
derived smoothed medians there is a smoothing formular that
is applied to the last six data points, that considers part of the
trend influence caused by today's intraday or closing price.

The result is removal of volatility which is greatly appreciated
by my colleague Blind Freddie and hopefully all who
view the coloured medians.

As each dividend is paid by PLS the true value to loyal holders
will be reflected in an ever widening separation between the
blue median (relevant to longer term holders from the
start of dividend payments) and the green median
relevant to new holders from today until they
start to enjoy the dividend ride.

What could possibly go wrong ?

I hope we don't make a lower low from here.
Better chartists than me may know a bit about the future more clearly than I do.
Obviously a supply deficit for lithium is very widely viewed to be on the cards.
The timing of future fundamentals and benefits is beyond my paygrade.
