I benefited when young from a school that followed the principles of Kurt Hahn
He was a refugee from Nazi Germany and a renowned educator.

Bullying was discouraged and we were encouraged to see the good in everyone
Life is too short for anything which harms others imho

People who hurt others are simply exposing their own internal hurts
They need help to be better.

Well managed companies (such as PLS) benefit from mutual support internally
and in their relations with those working towards a better future.

I learned this week that suicides are more common at remote mining sites.
One can never know how words might add to a person's insecurity.
The consequences of misplaced hostility can be serious.
Friendliness produces many unseen dividends.
With nothing in return expected or needed.

Just some of the things I learned and continue trying to learn more about.
